The deep, open Pacific Ocean swells create the long, workable ride for which Frigates is famous. It’s a powerful, consistent hollow left. Our boats will take you out on this world class surf break, and stay with you throughout the day, with snacks, lunch and beverages on board.
Frigates breaks on the open ocean, at the edge of Beqa Lagoon. It is one of the few breaks in Fiji you can ride all day, whether the tides are low or high. Prevailing tradewinds come from offshore, so Frigate's gets swells nearly every day.
It's a clean break that is not normally affected by rainfall or broken up by winds. On big days, Frigate's can challenge the most intrepid surfer, but on smaller days, it's a break that can be enjoyed by all skill levels. And best of all, non surfing partners will find lots to do in and around Beqa Lagoon.
Honeymooners love the versatility of a “Surf Honeymoon” where they can find romantic activities and combine them with visits to one of the best surf spots in all of Fiji.
